This is a different approach I tried to do on drawing, only with pens.
It is from the "pregancy" period of The Engelsain Tales, when I was going around with concepts in my head, and characters that were already taking a certain shape.

About the colours… If you are using traditional art with markers and coloured pencils You migh wanna try to do this:
1. Use one Sheet for the pencils (never colour directly on it).
2. Use Draftex paper for Inking (Place the draftex sheet over the one with the pencil and use Black Ink only. Use Black Ink Pigment Markers from Edding or Steadler for Outlining -> u got a lot of different tip sizes->use them for layererd Outlining ). For Black spots use a brush.
3. Xerox the Draftex (Choose the type of paper according to the colouring technique ur gonna use).
4. Colour at will -> Never cross lines. Try to keep an even spot on each colour.
5. Colour Markers are too flashy sometimes, so you might wanna try to tape te draftex over the coloured sheet a make a coloured xerox for the final piece. (Use target marks to get a better result).
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
